Monarch Butterfly

This month we were given the privilege of watching the final days of a Monarch Butterfly. A month ago, we watched a live Larva (Caterpillar); Pupa (Chrysalis), and Adult Butterfly in a cage at a friend’s home. As a home school Mom I stand in Awe at how our God cares about the little things in life like educating the Glidewell girls on Monarch Butterflies. Our Monarch Butterfly flew around our house, drank fruit punch and apple juice, and lived on our plants and curtains. The girls named it “forever fly’s”. A big thanks to The Sterling family for allowing us to watch their butterfly cage while we stayed in their home; even this too was a part of God’s plan. Thank you also Mrs. Futato, for teaching about insects. How would you ever know of our previous experience? Thank you God for sending us “forever fly’s” and allowing us to enjoy your creation!

It is neat to see first hand the life cycle of a butterfly instead of reading it in a book. I'm glad the girls were able to experience that. :)
