Ace survived kidney surgery and yet we were discouraged at the results. The Doctor did not find the stone. Because the stone was not where it should be the Dr. explored all areas of the kidney to see if he could find it. The exploring gave Ace's kidney a good work over and he is feeling it. Also, because the stone was not found the doctor put a stint in his kidney to help with further surgery if needed. The stint is also causing him a lot of pain. The stint will be removed if no further surgery is needed.
SOooo what's next? The Doctor is looking into FAA rules to see if the FAA will be satisfied with the surgery and no stone to show for it or, do they need more proof like another CAT scan.
It is largely possible that he will need another CAT scan. Please continue to pray for his recovery as he is in a lot of pain right now. Also pray for his future decisions that will need to be made. All depending on the FAA rules.
Thank you for all who prayed for him on Thursday it was a hard day. And Thank you to our babysitters Becky and Frances and for the meal from the Hardings!

A frustrating situation...keep us posted on how Ace is doing. We pray it will not affect his flying situation...
p.s. Our children's Christmas program was tonight - they did a super job! I know you would have enjoyed seeing it and your girls would have done a great job!
