My mother always made Christmas dresses for my sister and I. It was always a surprise, how did she do it? Piper has crafting tentacle ears and can detect any craft project in the works... no secrets in our home.

This year my girls are asking if they can help. I am used to being a loner in my creative times. So havening my girls help me with my crafting is stretching me. But as they helped me I found that I actually could get used to this bonding time and I picture great times ahead around the sewing machine.
