Catch-up From December

The Sunday before Christmas started December for us this year.
Notice the girls matching Christmas dresses? Piper made the skirts all by herself. She decided to add matching ribbon on the bottom of the skirts along with the sleeves of the blouses. It was really nice to have her talent of sewing this year.
Piper participated in her first piano solo in the NTMA Christmas program she did an awesome job.
The Pryde family came to visit us. Ace went to college with Thomas and they renewed their friendship on Facebook. Their stay was so much fun and their children and our children got along so well together so impressed were we.
Our Little Family
Pipers Piano teacher Linda
Sam's new friend Stephen they were so cute together. We miss you Stephen.
Piper with Anna & Sara working on their crocheting projects.
The guys hanging out before the Pryde's left. It sure was hard to say good bye. It is times like these when we long for Heaven so we never have to say good bye.
Pipers Old Smile.
Pipers Upper Cuspid teeth were not falling out so she had to have them pulled. The root on one was very long and it was not an easy pull. Our Dentist was a Spanish speaking man whose Hygienist was his translator.
Pipers New Smile.
We hope that her new Upper Cuspids will fall down naturally and we wont have to get braces.
Christmas dinner. You have to excuse my tongue as I wait for the photographer who always has to take a million pictures. It just so happened the millionth was was the best shot if it wasn't for my tongue. LOL
Singing Happy Birthday to Jesus
The Day after Christmas we packed up and went to the Heft home for 10 days to watch their dogs and help Grandma. Here the kids are enjoying the movie Sound of Music with the Hefts entertainment center and cozy living room.
Their Dog Sadie.
This is on the last day. We were packing our van up to move back to our home when I looked out the front window and saw someone in our van. I did a head count in the house everyone was accounted for. So I asked the kiddos who is in our van? Nobody knew. We found out it was Sadie. She sat in our van for three hours. she just wouldn't not get out until Piper pulled her out. I think she misses us.

Amiga, who is a foodaholic and enjoyed sitting under Cherokee's highchair.
The kids with Grandma Eppler

Well, that was basically our month of December it was very busy time but a very special time too. It was our first Holiday Season not in Michigan and we did miss our family but it also was quite relaxing to just stay near home.
